Summer Solstice, Cancer Season & Honoring the Fathers Who Nurture
June 21, 2026 is a powerful turning point.
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere as the Sun enters Cancer, beginning a new season centered on home, family, nourishment, and emotional well-being. This year, it also falls on Father’s Day, bringing themes of nurturing, protection, legacy, and the people who helped shape us.
Cancer is ruled by the Moon and reminds us that healing isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about coming home—to ourselves, our loved ones, our traditions, and the things that truly sustain us.
The Solstice is a celebration of light. It invites us to pause and acknowledge how far we’ve come since winter. What has grown? What deserves gratitude? What are you ready to nurture in the months ahead?
Whether you’re celebrating a father, honoring an ancestor, spending time with family, or simply enjoying the warmth of the season, take a moment to soak in the sunlight and reflect on what truly matters.
