Heart Healthy Tea: A Weekly Ritual for Wellness
If you’ve been following along with my wellness journey, you’ve probably noticed one herb showing up again and again this month—hibiscus. That’s because it’s our Herb of the Month, and for good reason.
Hibiscus has long been appreciated for its vibrant color and refreshing flavor. Traditionally, it has been used to support heart health, healthy circulation, antioxidant intake, hydration, and overall wellness. It’s one of my favorite herbs to keep on hand, especially during the warmer months.
One of the ways I enjoy it most is in my Heart Healthy Tea, a beautiful ruby-red herbal infusion that’s part of my weekly wellness routine. I also combine hibiscus with other nourishing ingredients to create the base for my signature Ironade drink.
What makes this tea special isn’t just the herbs—it’s the ritual. I begin with intention, allowing the herbs to cold brew overnight before giving them a gentle sun infusion the next morning. It’s a simple practice that encourages me to slow down, connect with nature, and be mindful about what I’m putting into my body.
I’m sharing a glimpse of the recipe here, but the complete version—including the additional herbs, exact measurements, step-by-step instructions, preparation tips, wellness information, and important safety disclaimers—is available exclusively inside the Sip • Eat • Heal Wellness Community.
